After its launch, a quarter-century ago in the Summer of 1997 RUG INSIDER Magazine (RI) is celebrating its 100th issue with the Spring Collector's Edition which is mailing now. “I'm very proud of this Spring issue,” states Peter Woodaman, Publisher and creator. “We’ve expanded our editorial reach covering more segments of the industry than ever before. There truly should be something for everyone in this issue.”

Zollanvari USA has invited the Kabul Carpet Export Center to hold a rug show and sale to the trade only at its warehouse at 600 Meadowlands Pkwy #130, Secaucus, NJ 07094. The Monday through Wednesday sale will showcase 500 rugs made during the COVID-19 lockdown by weavers across Afghanistan. The sale is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Loloi Rugs will open two new showrooms at the AmericasMart in Atlanta, ahead of the annual Atlanta Market this summer. Loloi’s main showroom in Building 1 of AmericasMart was relocated from the 4th floor to the Lobby Level (rooms I-L-1 and I-L-2), and opened earlier this year.

Increased vaccination rollout, improving travel sentiments and the return of Las Vegas Market’s gift and home temporaries – staged in the brand-new Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas – contributed to a lively and productive April 2021 Market, running April 11 – April 15, paving the way for West Coast recovery in the furniture, home décor and gift categories.

International Market Centers (IMC), accompanied by officials from the city of Las Vegas, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 9, 2021, to celebrate the grand-opening of the Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas (WMCLV), a 315,000-square-foot exposition facility located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas. The three-year project is a $103.5-million investment by Blackstone, IMC’s parent company, in the city of Las Vegas.
