Art Resources has moved from its second-floor Market Square showroom to a new space just opposite, in suite 278. The new showroom, which is smaller in order to concentrate the company’s collections, affords Art Resources more visibility for its product programs. The company also plans to introduce two to three new rug designs, as well as new additions to its program rugs at the fall High Point Market.
The company is also using QR code technology for its program rugs. One wall of the showroom is dedicated solely to program rugs, and unique to Art Resources is a QR code label for each that can be used to let retailers or customers know exactly what is available—from the size, to what’s on the loom and when it will be finished.

Max Moussavi, Director of Art Resources, says June market was slower for the company because the borders were closed due to COVID-19, but it was still a stellar market for them. He hopes as things start to reopen and more people get vaccinated, there will be more overseas attendance at the October market.
