Harounian Rugs International of New York, for 60 years an industry leader in the manufacturing and importing of fine handmade and machine made area rugs, announced that it will not be opening its showroom for the August 30th - September 3rd, 2020 Las Vegas Market due to continuing complexities created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the company, the health and well-being of its employees, customers and partners will always be top priority.
"The fact that the Las Vegas has been such an important Market for us has made this a very difficult decision, but we feel the safety of our customers and employees must come first," said David Harounian, CEO. "While we will miss seeing our customers face-to-face, we are developing new ways to stay connected and show new products to our customers and partners."
For the 2020 Summer Markets, in addition to introducing new on-trend programmed handmade and machine made collections, HRI continues to roll-out new looks and constructions in its recently launched Sunbrella® Performance Rug Collections. "We will be presenting many purchase incentives and POP offerings for customers to take advantage of during the Market period. Due to our excellent inventory levels for the entire HRI assortments coupled with the sales of Sunbrella Rug Collections that has exceeded our expectations; we are experiencing a very strong 3rd Quarter," said Greg Jordt, Executive Vice President.
HRI will be announcing additional details about a new digital market experience and purchase incentives in the coming weeks.
