Tamarian announced a rug collaboration with fellow Baltimore-based artists Annie Howe and Jessie & Katey. Tamarian continues to explore new ways to innovate and diversify their design portfolio from traditional sources of inspiration; and working with these arts-scenesters, who have been bringing high energy and aesthetic to the region and beyond for the past decade, is a welcome departure, if not a homecoming.

Annie Howe is the artist behind Annie Howe Papercuts located in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduating from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in Fiber, she worked in community arts for many years, creating and contributing to the Baltimore art community with large-scale puppetry and shadow puppets. As her love for storytelling grew through this large medium, she found her focus as an artist shifting from large 3D objects to that of the smaller more intimate medium of paper. She founded Annie Howe Papercuts in 2010, creating handmade papercuts for businesses, publications and private collections. Her illustrations are easily recognized in many branding and publishing initiatives.

ALLUMINATION : BOSTON is an installation by Jessie & Katey in Boston, Massachusetts.

Jessie Unterhalter and Katey Truhn (aka Jessie & Katey) are a Baltimore based artist team striving to transform public spaces into colorful and vibrant experiences. They have collaborated internationally on large-scale murals, fine art and sculpture since 2012. Their mission grows from a simple desire to bring playfulness to public spaces and enhance people's lives through art. They believe that the aesthetics of one’s environments can influence their emotions and state of mind. With a passion for people and design, they bring life to unsung spaces through abstract painting and sculpture. Their work explores themes of movement and symmetry, inspired by bold color combinations, patterns in nature, woven textiles and formalism.
