Hannover Fairs USA, the organizer of DOMOTEX USA, today announced that three digital marketing experts, in collaboration with digital media company FloorForce, will headline the inaugural show’s first Digital Growth Sessions on Thursday, Feb. 28 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Offering a complete program of marketing curriculum, DOMOTEX USA 2019 also will host brand building sessions on Friday, March 1 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. presented by top-tier brand consultants. “Hannover Fairs USA is establishing its U.S. floor covering event as a market leader by focusing on the key factors driving the industry forward,” said John Weller, co-founder of FloorForce, LLC based in Sarasota, Fla. “Combining flooring products with digital marketing solutions is critical and will provide a playbook for flooring retailers to win in 2019.”
During Thursday’s sessions, speakers will reveal what they learned from analyzing the last 24 months of meaningful industry data derived from the more than 10 million flooring shoppers who conduct business directly with thousands of flooring retailers and hundreds of the industry’s top manufacturers and distributors. Thursday’s three one-hour sessions will focus on step-by-step instructions for leveraging the assets and data that already exist in a retailer’s business with the platforms and technologies that are rapidly changing the world of online marketing.

The 8:00 a.m. session, Digital Marketing Won…Now It's Your Turn, will be presented by John Weller. He will share his outlook of the online marketing landscape, how to harness online marketing to keep a flooring store open 24/7, how to successfully build brand equity with the store’s exit strategy in mind and how to staff the company for success.
The 9:00 a.m. session, Googler Explains Advertising Flooring On Google, will be given by Todd Saunders, CEO of AdHawk based in New York. Saunders will speak about working at Google and why he is now focused on the flooring industry. He will provide input into finding, understanding and connecting with the correct audience through digital channels. Saunders also will discuss how to fill the sales pipeline and leverage the store’s data for new business leads.
The 10:00 a.m. session, The Short-Term Pain For Long-Term Gain, will be presented by Jason Goldberg, founder of America’s Floor Source based in Columbus, Ohio. Goldberg will share why he built a technology company while running his $60 million flooring company, he will reveal how to align employees’ goals with the retailer’s goals and will showcase his company’s successful customer relationship management system.

DOMOTEX USA 2019 also will hold special interest breakout sessions. As part of these breakout sessions, the NWFA will host two sessions that offer certification credit. On Thursday, NWFA’s session will focus on color trends in hardwood floors. On Friday, NWFA’s session will address the labor shortage. Also, on Friday, Emily Morrow Home will host a designer trend panel discussion and luncheon.
In addition to the DOMOTEX USA 2019 fee-based conference sessions and special interest breakout sessions, the trade show will host Insider Talks, a series of free educational sessions on the show floor for all attendees. Insider Talks topics range from state-of-the-industry perspectives, installation issues, maximizing profitability, as well as color and design trends. The discussions will deliver perspectives, advice and teachings gathered from industry data and presented by the industry’s top thought leaders. Insider Talks will run approximately 30 minutes and will be held throughout the afternoons of Thursday, Feb. 28 and Friday, March 1, and during the morning on Saturday, March 2 on the Plaza Stage, centrally located on the show floor.
