Hannover Fairs USA, the organizer of DOMOTEX USA, today announced that its latest interview in its industry leader series profiles Mark Galey, owner of Master Home Remodelers in Atlanta. Mr. Galey launched his remodeling business in 1990, attracting national attention as the winner of multiple contractor awards. He manages an extensive client list, including hip-hop artist Ne-Yo.
Mr. Galey’s interview highlights his environmentally-conscious and community approach to the business of remodeling homes. He is EarthCraft Certified, Solatube Certified, and a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS), among other credentials. As an Aging-in-Place specialist, Mr. Galey is more conscious of how seemingly small decisions have a significant impact on a client’s experience within the home. His work takes into consideration the entire lifespan of a homeowner, including whether a client is cohabiting with pets or raising children, wants to age in place or is living with disabilities.
As part of his community efforts, Mr. Galey is active with the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Atlanta chapter and will become its president in 2019.
“The demand for eco-friendly practices has grown in recent decades,” said Galey. “Environmentalism is not a trend. It’s here to stay,” he adds. As part of his attendance at DOMOTEX USA 2019, Mr. Galey plans to focus on learning about the environmental impacts of flooring manufacturing and how manufacturers are improving the durability of flooring products.
