Art Hide, an Australian-founded USA based hide rug brand, has once again collaborated with New York interior designer Sasha Bikoff to expand their popular collection of premium hide rugs. Inspired by handmade textiles and vintage fashion, three best-selling styles have been re-released in single tone colorways, lab dipped by Art Hide for the Sasha Bikoff team.
Shibori - Ancient Japanese artistry meets modern luxury in striking black, charcoal, and gray gradations with gold detail. Fragments - 70s patchwork meets high fashion across four distinct moods: Patina Blue, Pink Clay, Coffee, and Petrol. Pastiche - Bold geometric patterns channel 90s Dolce & Gabbana luxury in sophisticated Olive and nostalgic, vintage denim inspired Starlight Blue.

Sasha Bikoff, said, “Art Hide and I really connect over our love and usage of color. When learning about the artisan construction of Art Hide rugs I was inspired by fashion driven patterns by Dolce and Gabbana in the 90s and quilts from the 70's hippie era. With these new releases, it's exciting to see how just using one single color can still produce a myriad of shades like facets of a gemstone across a single rug,”.
Art Hide Founder, Kura Perkins, said. "We really wanted to strip back some of the contrast colors to show how much depth, richness and subtle variation we can achieve in just one single color. Single tones are also fabulously versatile in rugs, helping to pull together interior palettes while grounding a room”.
Art Hide has lab dipped 31 new colors for the Bikoff collection, further adding to their unsurpassed cowhide color range. Two vintage inspired wall tapestries, pillows and tote bags complete the range.
