Secaucus, NJ – With less than two months to go, organizers of THE RUG SHOW are busy with event preparations. The 2022 roster is growing up to the last minute and includes new companies as well as many returning, established ’RUG SHOW’ veterans. This year’s show is scheduled to take place at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey on February 16-18, 2022. As a premier industry fair, The Rug Show offers attendees a place to buy new products, meet new rug makers, learn and build connections through networking.

Feizy Rugs, one of the country’s largest rug manufacturers, continues its commitment to supporting undernourished children in underprivileged communities. The family-run rug company has again pledged to donate $25,000 this holiday season to Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), a nonprofit that delivers healthy meals to starving children in 70 countries around the world. The company’s holiday donation will provide the funds needed to feed 285 children through FMSC for one year.

The High Point Market Authority (HPMA) continues its partnership with Esteem Media to bring their popular tour to the Spring 2022 High Point Market, April 2-6. Newly rebranded as the Design Influencers Tour, submissions are now being accepted from design-focused influencers focusing on a variety of digital content channels. Previously hosted as the Design Bloggers Tour, the Design Influencers Tour program will bring ten design influencers to High Point Market for a 2-day tour of sponsoring showrooms. 

Las Vegas Market’s temporary exhibits – housed in the all-new Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas – are tracking to grow by more than 30 percent to showcase nearly 400 established and up-and-coming lines in seven easy-to-shop gift and home decor destinations for their Winter 2022 staging, January 23-26, 2022.

DOMOTEX will not take place in January 2022. This was announced by Deutsche Messe AG as the organizer of the leading trade show for carpets and floor coverings.

"We have been fighting for DOMOTEX together with the exhibiting companies until the very end, and have been in daily communication with the industry for months," says Sonia Wedell-Castellano, Global Director DOMOTEX, Deutsche Messe AG. "DOMOTEX is particularly affected by the impact of the Corona pandemic, as the vast majority of DOMOTEX exhibitors and attendees come from abroad. However, given the current pandemic situation, international business travel is not expected to recover in the short term," adds Wedell-Castellano.

Atlanta Market kicks off the gift wholesale and retail year with 40 showroom updates among its 700+ gift showrooms presented on 19 floors at the Winter 2022 edition, January 11-18, 2022 at AmericasMart Atlanta. Together, the eight showroom debuts, 28 expansions and four relocations make up more than 180,000 square feet of refreshed spaces for International Market Centers’ (IMC) first market of 2022.
