Arizona Rug Company has leased a 5,176-square-foot site for their newest Arizona location in Paradise Valley, at the northwest corner of Tatum and Shea Boulevard in the Whole Foods anchored Paradise Valley Marketplace. The anticipated opening date of this location is mid-summer 2021.
Arizona Rug Company’s new Paradise Valley location will join the Scottsdale location at 15505 N. Scottsdale Road and the Tempe location at 8154 S. Priest Drive. The Paradise Valley location will be the largest of its 3 locations and will service the entire Phoenix metro area.
In addition to its vast inventory of area rugs, this new location will offer complete flooring including: wood, tile, carpet and more. Area rug and carpet cleaning services will be offered at all 3 locations.
“We took advantage of the 2021 high retail store vacancies and landed a great deal at a great spot in the heart of the Phoenix metro area,” said Ed Momeni, an area rug veteran and the owner of Arizona Rug Company since 2001.
Arizona Rug Company was started by the Cunningham family in 1993. Ed Momeni, purchased Arizona Rug Company in 2001. The Scottsdale location, located in the Zocallo Shopping Center just north of the Scottsdale Quarter, has been in the heart of the Kierland shopping district since 1998. The Tempe location opened in 2013. Arizona Rug Company has plans to open more locations throughout Arizona and the Southwest in the coming years.
