While temporarily working with a reduced number of staff members, Kalaty executives and employees are complying with New York State guidelines by carefully maintaining social distancing regulations and following proper health protocols to keep themselves, their coworkers and their families safe. The company warehouse continues to maintain a full inventory of Kalaty’s fine rug collections in all styles, sizes, shapes, weaves and constructions, and the shipping department is making every effort to ship orders quickly.
“We are still gladly accepting customer calls to answer any and all questions,” says Ariel Kalaty, a company spokesman. “We’re also happy for customers to fax or email us. However, now is the perfect time to utilize the Kalaty app for both Apple and Android devices, a free download on the App Store, where customers have all the tools they would need from navigating our collections to using our dealer portal. We also offer an easy-to-navigate dealer portal at Kalaty.com. All of our interactive e-marketing tech tools vastly improve the customer experience with features that allow our dealers to check inventory, place and/or check their orders, plus a number of other useful functions including being able to see all of our rugs in a variety of different room settings. These marketing tools can be especially helpful to dealers and customers who are currently working remotely due to the many uncertainties of the coronavirus crisis.”
Ariel Kalaty adds, “With most of the country working under stay-at-home mandates and with the High Point spring market cancelled, we are offering ‘High Point specials’ to buyers along with limited-time free shipping, which we hope will help them conduct business during these difficult times. And, instead of debuting new products at markets this spring, we have put our newest collections and designs on Kalaty.com so that customers can view all of our newest rugs online now.”
