Kalaty Rug Corporation announced that in September the company will open a new 1,700-square-foot NYC showroom in the Textile Building at 295 Fifth Avenue, suite #508.
For more than two decades Kalaty operated showrooms on Park Avenue South and subsequently moved to 7 West 34th. Over the past several years, Kalaty has operated a to-the-trade showroom at its Long Island headquarters. The company’s return to New York City represents a renewed commitment to service local New York clientele as well as to provide easier access for customers during New York rug and textile markets.

The Kalaty family Oriental rug business originated more than 100 years ago in Iran under Mirza Kalaty’s grandfather, and in 1979 Mirza established the company in the USA.
