Amer Rugs announced the appointment of industry veteran John Mendez as the Regional Manager for the New York, New Jersey region.
“While John has been with Amer for over six years as an Independent Rep,” said Joe Barkley Vice President of Amer Rugs, “in his new role John will be linked even closer to Amer as a company sales professional”.
John Mendez has been a consistent top performer at Amer and has been awarded Sales Associate of the Year honors three times in the past five years also during this period he was a top producer for Loloi and other key Home Décor suppliers. Prior to that John was the National Salesperson of the Year and multiple Eastern Regional Sales Rep of the Year for Fabrica International. John is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in Interior Design. John will report directly to Bret Baker, Amer National Sales Manager.
