Both Karastan and Scott Living believe everyone can live beautifully, and now the two have joined creative energies to introduce rug collections in 2018 that are invitingly modern and embrace accessible luxury.
The new licensing agreement is between Mohawk Home and Scott Living, a furniture and home décor line by Drew and Jonathan Scott from HGTV’s Property Brothers television series. The first product release to be rolled out by the collaboration will be under the Karastan brand—two new rug collections encompassing 20 total designs.
The design philosophy of the Scott twins blends heirloom industrial and modern aesthetics that allows them to focus on interesting materials, textures, finishes and colors to create unique looks. Karastan has a long tradition of providing signature style and quality craftsmanship.
The two new Karastan collections, which will be revealed at the Las Vegas Market, July 29–August 2, 2018, are:
- Expressions Collection: Invitingly modern yet approachable, the Expressions Collection by Scott Living speaks to the contemporary creative in us all. This casual collective of modern designs is an artistic assortment featuring fresh pops of citron and indigo colors cast alongside neutral hues of gray, beige and black. Designed with Karastan’s exclusive EverStrand® recycled polyester yarn, this woven collection offers a sumptuous softness, superior stain resistance and dependable durability.
- Artisan Collection: The embodiment of accessible luxury, the Artisan Collection by Scott Living is rooted in classic designs illuminated by a palette of mineral-inspired colors. Divine dustings of shimmering cream and gold viscose combine to create polished patterns with detailed texture. Fused with the luxurious finish of Karastan’s exclusive triexta SmartStrand® Silk yarn, Artisan rugs feature a sumptuous softness and a built-in premium stain and soil resistance that will never wear or wash off.
