CALHOUN, GA — Delos, an American Maker of custom carpets and rugs, announces the launch of Verge Design Series, a design series of 15 sophisticated tonal designs inspired by the spaces between; land and air, dusk and dawn, forest and field through subtle, dimensional textures designed to complement architecture without competing with it.

Created for designers seeking a refined architectural aesthetic with the flexibility of a truly custom product, Verge combines 86% New Zealand wool with 14% ECONYL® regenerated nylon. The carefully engineered fiber blend creates a subtle striae effect while balancing the rich, natural variation of wool with the color consistency and performance of nylon. Two weights are available: Plush or the price-conscious Refined weight, with its lower profile ideal for thresholds, insets, and private aviation.

Custom Shapes Without the Typical Upcharge

Verge is engineered for architectural flexibility, from classic rectangles and ovals to bold geometrics and freeform contours. Custom shapes are available without the typical upcharge. Delos can also collaborate with designers to develop entirely custom shapes.

Rugs can be tufted in sizes up to 13’6” x 60’ or 15’6” x 40’, with hand-sewn seams available for larger installations. This flexibility makes Verge suitable for everything from intimate residential settings and hotel guestrooms to expansive hospitality environments, and private aviation applications. For private aviation in particular, Delos can tuft carpets to exact templates and eliminate the need to purchase entire rolls, reducing material waste while creating a precise fit for highly customized interiors.

A New Dimension of Tonal Design

At the heart of Verge is Delos’ mastery of cut, loop and 80% tip shear construction. The tip shear creates depth, subtle flecking, and movement without adding visual busyness, giving the design its distinctive tonal sophistication.

The result is a design series that can read as quietly elegant from a distance while revealing intricate texture and movement up close. Designs range from the radiating energy of Cadence and the atmospheric depth of Surge to the geological striations of Basalt, the flowing contours of Drift, and the organic movement of Lilt. Across the collection, natural landscapes, erosion, water, foliage and shifting light provide a foundation for patterns that feel both organic and architectural.

15 Designs. Interchangeable Colorways. Virtually Unlimited Possibilities. 

Verge’s 15 curated designs and colorways are interchangeable, giving designers extensive flexibility in creating a cohesive palette across a project. For projects requiring a more specific palette, Delos offers access to 144 New Zealand wool colors and 144 ECONYL® nylon colors, as well as dye-to-match capabilities using ARS poms, Pantone® colors, paint swatches, or fabrics. 

Designers can also work directly with Delos to develop custom patterns using Verge’s tonal construction. A dedicated design team and project manager help align the aesthetic vision, budget and delivery requirements from the beginning of the process.

Verge is robotically tufted and hand finished in the United States, combining advanced manufacturing precision with the artistry of skilled craftsmanship. More design options will be added to the series and will be available for viewing online.
