Registration is open for COVER Connect New York 2026, the leading trade show dedicated to high-end rugs and carpets. Hosted by COVER magazine, the show returns to Manhattan’s Metropolitan Pavilion and The Altman Building from September 26–28, bringing together forty-four rug brands with manufacturers, designers and buyers from across the rug and interiors industries.
Since its launch in 2021, COVER Connect New York has grown steadily in scope. It has become a firm favourite among buyers from rug galleries, furniture retailers, department stores and interior design firms, who appreciate its convenient central location, collaborative atmosphere and the breadth and quality of products on show. Open exclusively to trade professionals, COVER Connect New York provides a focused environment to source new rugs, explore custom opportunities and build relationships in person — while also offering inspiration through design-led collections and conversation with some of the industry’s most knowledgeable makers.
The show offers a comprehensive overview of contemporary rug production, spanning traditional rugs and flatweaves, versatile flooring solutions for residential and commercial projects, contemporary artistic works and exclusive commissions. Exhibitors are selected to complement one another, ensuring visitors encounter the widest possible range of styles, materials and price points in one setting. Fast-track entry for COVER Connect New York 2026 closes on 17 September.
Industry professionals who register by the deadline will have their applications verified ahead of the show, reducing wait times on arrival and allowing for faster entry at the Metropolitan Pavilion registration desk.
Visitor registration will remain open after 17 September, but those registering after the deadline will not benefit from fast-track entry.
DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS & EXHIBITOR QUOTES
New collections, design additions, exciting samples and fresh custom options will be launched at COVER Connect New York this September, with exhibitors using the specialist three-day event to introduce their latest rugs and carpets to clients and visitors.
S&H Rugs will bring a vibrant reimagining of traditional Persian design. Kristina Drozd and Xhuljana Hamiti of S&H Rugs say: ‘We are taking the breathtaking heritage of classic Persian motifs and injecting them with bold, trend-forward colours. Every hand-knotted piece we’re bringing celebrates the perfect marriage of historical elegance and modern maximalism.’
The latest instalment of Knots Rugs’ Artist Collaboration series, based on the work of Manchester-based abstract painter Ian Rayer-Smith, will preview at the show.
Creative Matters will expand its celebrated 2025 Loominary collection, which the company says, ‘celebrates artistic expression, thoughtful craftsmanship, and the collaborative process that transforms ideas into beautifully crafted pieces.’
Couristan describes Nouvelle, its latest hand-knotted collection in 100% pure wool, as ‘abstract contemporary’ with ‘tribal vibes’.
French Accents will showcase a new collection of Art Deco rugs in unique textures, alongside new Oushak rugs woven on all-wool foundations.
New Moon’s Erika Kurtz says, ‘New Moon always brings an eclectic mix of offerings to CCNY. With creative design interests that pull from a global perspective, our collections offer a wide range of styles to appeal to discerning luxury clientele looking for rugs with unique flair.’
Rebel Carpets announces, ‘Rebel is unveiling new custom-size rug options at COVER Connect, expanding its made-to-measure collection with luxury wool and high-performance outdoor designs.’
Via Star Rugs will showcase a boutique brand within its group, dedicated to handcrafted rugs made by skilled artisans in Brazil. The group describe Ariadne as ‘rooted in a slower, more conscious approach to design’, exploring ‘natural and recycled fibres, handloom techniques and hand-tufted craftsmanship to create distinctive, tactile pieces for designers and retailers seeking exclusivity’.
Nikhil Kapoor, creative director of Tissage, has been engaging with Gen Z and Gen Alpha at the skatepark to reach Common Ground—the brand’s new collection which features on the cover of COVER 84
NEW EXHIBITORS FOR 2026
With an exceptional selection of leading rug brands, the 2026 edition welcomes eight new exhibitors: Art de Vivre, Arsin Rug Gallery, KETENCI, Nourison Home, Parviz Oriental Rugs, Rug Maroc, The Rug Imports and Turquoise Mountain. These additions further strengthen the show’s offering and provide visitors with even more opportunities to discover new products and business partnerships.
The popular US brand Nourison Home delivers stylish designs that combine comfort, ease and everyday living to simplify placement and upkeep. Art de Vivre creates inventive, bespoke rugs as collectible design pieces while KETENCI combines natural materials including wool, silk and nettle fibre with a focus on craftsmanship. The founder of Rug Maroc, Danny Popkin, is a traveller and collector who has enjoyed handpicking one-of-a-kind Moroccan scatter rugs—he is making his entire collection available at CCNY 2026.
Two Texan companies join the show—Arsin Rug Gallery offers a curated, expert-led approach to selecting the right rug, and industry favourite The Rug Imports will bring a diverse variety of handmade rugs, with trademark quality. Plus, two companies who show at the Las Vegas edition of COVER Connect join the show in Manhattan for the first time: Parviz Oriental Rugs, bringing a family-run heritage of rug expertise in sales, cleaning and restoration built over generations, and Turquoise Mountain, which supports artisan communities in Afghanistan through the preservation of traditional craft practices and techniques.
Sanjay Purohit, Turquoise Mountain’s director of carpets, says ‘We are delighted to be exhibiting at COVER Connect in New York for the first time this year. We are excited to be able to showcase our latest collections and to work with our customers to develop new custom collections for them.’

COVER Connect New York takes place across two neighbouring Chelsea venues: the Metropolitan Pavilion and The Altman Building. Connected internally, the venues function as a single event space, enabling visitors to explore the full exhibitor line-up with ease.
All visitors should check in at the registration desk located in the Metropolitan Pavilion.

For a limited time, discounted hotel accommodation at four Manhattan hotels is available for CCNY attendees booking via the show website.
COVER Connect New York 2026 coincides with the UN General Assembly, so accommodation across the city will be limited. Visitors are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
