Six design-centric furniture and home décor products from ANDMORE’s 1,000+ permanent showrooms and temporary exhibits have been named Market Snapshot “People’s Choice” Award winners for the Spring 2024 edition of High Point Market. The six winners – Bassett Furniture; Bassett Mirror Co.; Elliston House; Jeffan International; Napa Home & Garden; and Oliver Gal – will have their products displayed alongside a number of the 34 additional finalists in a vignette during the April market, April 13 – 17, 2024.

Leading floor covering and home accents manufacturer Nourison Home is introducing new area rugs, custom rugs, and home accessories at High Point Market. These new products and programs offer style at every price point, from value to luxury, and will be displayed in their showroom on the ground floor of the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC) Building, Suite IH101 in High Point. 

In response to Monday’s announcement that seven World Central Kitchen workers were killed during hunger relief operations in Gaza, Gift for Life, the gift and home industries’ longest-running, volunteer-led, national charitable organization,  issued the following statement:

“We were shocked and saddened by yesterday’s news that seven World Central Kitchen relief workers were killed by Israeli airstrikes while delivering much-needed aid to Gaza.  WCK sends teams and aid where they are desperately needed, which is quite often into harm’s way, so while this type of danger is not unknown to WCK, Chef Jose Andres has announced the suspension of WCK’s relief efforts in Gaza.  Since 2019, our industry has united to support WCK’s efforts to feed communities impacted by crisis, climate and conflict around the globe, and we stand united with Chef Andres, the WCK team and the families who lost loved ones. We also offer our hope for a swift return to peace that will allow their humanitarian efforts to resume.”

Organizers of The Rug Show have opened online buyer registration for the 2024 edition, to be held from September 7 – 9 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ. Pre-registration is encouraged for the best show experience and to RSVP for the annual Gala reception (TBA).
