cmi Receives 2007 "Best On Time Delivery" Award from Home Decorators Collection |
 Pawtucket, RI-based cmi (Colonial Mills, Inc.), was recently recognized by premier direct selling business, Home Decorators Collection, with its 2007 “Best On Time Delivery” award for the third year in a row. Gil Kemp, President of Home Decorators Collection, presented the award to John Bradshaw, Vice President Sales at cmi, during the 12th Annual Home Decorators Vendor Conference in Saint Charles, MO.
According to the company, cmi has worked closely with Rhode Island Manufacturing Extension Services (RIMES) since 2000 on adopting and becoming proficient at Lean Manufacturing processes in order to maximize their on-time delivery service with all of their customers.
