Loloi Rugs Wins 21st Annual ARTS Award |
 DALLAS TX (Jan. 19, 2010)–Loloi Rugs has just been presented with the ARTS Award for Rug Manufacturer of the Year at the 21st Annual ARTS Awards Gala, held Saturday, Jan. 16 at the Dallas Trade Mart. This is the first ARTS Awards win and sixth prestigious nomination for the six-year-old rug firm.
Steven Loloi, joined by 11 Loloi Rugs’ staff members, accepted the Award for his father, Amir Loloi, who was traveling on business.
“We are so proud of this honor,” Steven Loloi said. “After receiving six nominations in our six years in business, this win is so appreciated. It is a tribute to every member of the Loloi team, from the designers, weavers and IT people to our warehouse guys, rug flippers, sales representatives and our retail partners. Coming off of our win at the America’s Magnificent Carpets Awards in Atlanta earlier this month, this truly is an incredible way to start 2010.”
The ARTS Awards is the premier awards program for the decorative
accessories industry, recognizing excellence in retailing,
manufacturing, sales and design, and recognizing an entire company,
rather than just one design or product. The Rug Manufacturer of the
Year is among 26 categories under the headings Manufacturer, Retailer,
Product Designer, Sales Representative, Rising Star, Academy of
Achievement and Hall of Fame.
