Kas Names Roan as VP Sales and Marketing

SOMERSET, NJ — Steve Roan has been named vice president of sales and marketing for Kas Oriental Rugs, according to Rao Yarlagadda, president. Roan will report directly to Yarlagadda.

"Roan will be responsible for our KAS network of sales agents and will take a leading role in developing new programs as KAS continues to increase its market share and brand awareness," said Yarlagadda.

"I'm very excited to join the KAS team," said Roan.  "KAS for years has been known as a style and design leader in our industry, and the professionalism throughout the organization is well known. It is a terrific opportunity and I look forward to the future."

Roan is an industry veteran with over 20 years' experience in the rug and carpet business. Most recently, he was vice president of Karastan Rugs. Earlier, Roan held executive posts with several major rug and carpet companies.
